Antony Bryceson

Antony Bryceson is a market-leading practitioner.  He has specialised in a range of derivatives, securities and trading matters for the past 20 years and is qualified as a solicitor (now non-practising) in both England and Wales, and Hong Kong.

Before founding AB Trading Advisors in 2014, Antony led teams of lawyers at Simmons & Simmons LLP and latterly Sidley Austin LLP for 11 years.  At both Simmons & Simmons and Sidley, Antony advised hedge funds, family offices, trading firms and other clients on a broad range of derivatives, funds and regulatory matters.

Antony contributes on a regular basis to legal periodicals including Butterworths Journal of International Banking and Financial Law and Practical Law and is an active participant in trade bodies such as the FIA (formerly the Futures Industry Association), the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and AIMA.  He sits on the Financial Markets Law Committee's Asset Management Scoping Forum.

Antony Bryceson

Richard Chapman

Richard Chapman specialises in derivatives, brokerage and trading related matters together with associated regulatory work. Since qualifying as a solicitor (now non-practising) in England and Wales in 2005, he has amassed experience on the buy-side both in private practice and in-house.

Before joining AB Trading Advisors in 2018, Richard was legal counsel for a leading event-driven asset manager for over six years where he was involved in legal matters connected to the investment management group and the funds/vehicles which it manages (in numerous jurisdictions). His primary focus was advising on all aspects of, and implementing practical solutions in relation to, their trading relationships, documentation, derivatives and regulation.

Prior to that, he was a supervising associate at Simmons & Simmons LLP in the financial services group where he primarily advised on trading related matters, focussing on the hedge fund sector.  He sits on the Financial Markets Law Committee's Asset Management Scoping Forum.
